Join us for two days of heart-conscious meditation, plant walks, sustainable wild harvesting, and botanical dyeing led by Mattie Morton of Juniperous.

Herbalist and artist Mattie Morton earned a bachelors degree in Fine Art from Montana State University, and has been trained in various forms of Herbal and Earth Medicine through the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, The Southwest School of Botanical Medicine, Hill Botanical, and The Anima’ Botanical and Animal Sanctuary. Mattie offers classes and consultations for deepening the connection between the self and the natural world through botanical and earthen arts, gardening, and herbal self-care. Through her work she strives to encourage people to strengthen and re-establish the practice of cultivating deep relationship with the earth.

In this two-day earthen arts workshop we will focus on plant identification, sustainable harvest, and a method of botanical printing called the Eco-print. We will be creating art of place and discussing our relationships to the plants we have used, and the eco-system that they represent. Students will practice listening to the voice of nature with their hearts through plant sits and meditation.

Each student will leave the class with a beautiful shawl that we've eco-printed together.

Early Bird Registration by July 20th is $275
After July 20th the price will be $350

Includes a silk/wool shawl, two full days of experiential folk art, immersive meditation, ecological education, course materials, notes, snacks, and tea.
