Add some new life to your painting ritual with these magical little paintstones. Handmade by Anong, an artist and member of the M'chigeeng First Nation. These paintstones are made from manitoulin honey, wildcrafted tree sap, hand-gathered, washed and sifted stone and the finest lightfast pigments. They offer a saturated color that is a joy to paint with, from thick stripes to fine washes and details, quality is evident in every stroke.
These little jewels are also about our values and support our respect for the earth, they are plastic free and wrapped in waxed cloth.
Beam Paints is the result of a multi generational love of pigment, paint, color, and innovation. Anong Beam raised by artist parents Carl Beam and Ann Beam, was taught from a young age how to harvest hematite pigment in the lacloche mountain range near her home in M'chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island. Beam Paints draws on these early educations in Indigenous pigment and expands it to encompass all paint traditions. A focus on high quality pigment content creates sublime artist materials.
