About the Class:

In this 3 hour workshop, you will create your own doll character. We will explore mini style and create an imaginative look for your doll. You will start with a primitive cotton doll form and will add the face, hair, clothing and accessories. We will have a variety of the cutest little clothing patterns you have ever seen as well as fabric and scraps for you create your look. You will learn some basic sewing skills and will be able to sew two different outfits for your doll. This would make a great gift for the little one in your life, or for your own enjoyment.

About the Teacher:


Mariah is the owner of Wilder Goods and has a background in textile arts with a BA in Clothing, Textiles and Design from the University of Idaho. Over the years she has experimented with design in many mediums, including fiber dyeing and printing, metalsmithing, sewing, web and graphic design and more. Currently, she runs the Wilder shop and studio and makes her own line of fiber and clay jewelry.
